a2 Milk Company completes divestment of Mataura Valley Milk

a2 Milk Company Ltd (ASX:A2M) has confirmed the completion of its divestment of the majority of its holding in Mataura Valley Milk Limited as of 31 October, 2025.

The move comes as the company has been making changes to tranform its supply chain.

On 18 August, 2025 the company revealed that it would divest Mataura Valley Milk (MVM) for ~NZ$100 million to optimise its asset footprint, capacity utilisation and financial performance.

At the same time that it divested MVM, it acquired Yashili Pokeno for NZ$282 million, giving the company a plant with two China label registrations, enabling for product expansion.
