Gold hovers around $4,000/oz

The gold price is trading at US$3,988.1/oz and trying to find support after selling off from a high of around US$4,350/oz .

The VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF (NYSEARCA:GDXJ) finished -1.33% at the end of Friday’s session in the US.

Northern Star Resources Ltd (ASX:NST) is down 2.15% intra-day and Evolution Mining Ltd (ASX:EVN) is down 3.04%.
